தேவனுக்கும் ஜனங்களுக்கும் சேவைசெய்ய...

[எண்ணாகமம் 8 இலிருந்து தியானம்]

👉 பாவங்களிலிருந்து சுத்திகரிக்கப்படாமல் நாம் தேவனுடைய சேவையைச் செய்ய முடியாது. (6,21)

👉 தேவனால் மீட்கப்பட்டிராமல், நம்மால் மீட்பரை அறிவிக்கவும், ஜனங்களை மீட்கவும் முடியாது. (12,19)

👉 உலகத்திலிருந்து வேறுபிரிக்கப்படாமல், நாம் தேவனுக்கு சொந்தமாக மாறமுடியாது. (14)

👉 தனிப்பட்ட விருப்பங்களுடன் நாம் தேவனுடைய நோக்கத்தை நிறைவேற்ற முடியாது. (16)

👉 சேவகனுடைய இதயம் இல்லாமல், நம்மால் மக்களுக்கு சேவை செய்ய முடியாது (19,26)

👉 நமது வாலவயதை தேவனுக்குக் கொடுக்காமல், நம்மால் தேவனுடைய சேவையை ஆற்றலுடன் செய்யமுடியாது (24,25)

தேவனை சேவிப்பதில் உள்ள குணங்கள்

👉 பரிசுத்தம்: தேவனுடைய சேவை பரிசுத்தத்தைக் கோருகிறது. (3:4; 4:4)

👉 அழைப்பு: கர்த்தர் தம் வார்த்தையின் மூலம் தம் ஊழியர்கள் மூலம் நம்மை தம் சேவைக்கு அழைக்கின்றனர். (3:16)

👉 பொறுப்பு: கொடுக்கப்பட்ட பணிக்கு பொறுப்புணர்வு அவசியம். (3:25,31,36)

👉 முதன்மை: நம் வாழ்நாளில் சிறந்த காலங்களை தேவனுடைய சேவைக்கு கொடுத்தல். (4:23,35,43)

👉 அர்ப்பணிப்பு: எந்த வேலையும் செய்ய எப்போதும் தயாராக இருக்க தேவையான பணிவு மற்றும் அர்ப்பணிப்பு. (3:7-9)

👉 தேவை: நாம் கர்த்தருடைய பணிக்கு தேவை. தேவனின் பணியில் யாரும் குறைவானவர்களோ, அல்லது எந்த வேலையும் முக்கியமற்றதோ இல்லை. (4:17,18)

👉 கர்த்தருக்குரியவர்கள்: தேவனுக்கு சொந்தமாயிருக்கும்படி நாம் மீட்கப்பட்டு, பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தப்படுகிறோம். (3:13,41)

தேவனுக்குகந்த சேவை!

👉 கர்த்தரும் அவருடைய ஊழியமும் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கிறதினால், தன்னைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தாதிருத்தல். (21:1,6,11)

👉பிள்ளைகளையும் தலைமுறையையும் கர்த்தருக்கு ஏற்ற பரிசுத்தத்தில் வளர்த்தல். (21:9,17,21)

👉 கர்த்தருடைய நாமம் தூஷிக்கப்படாதபடிக்கு நன்கொடைகள் மற்றும் காணிக்கைகளை கவனமாகக் கையாளுதல். (22:1,2)

தேவனின் சேவைக்கான ஆயத்தங்கள்!

👉 தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைக்கும் தெய்வபயமுள்ள தலைவர்களுக்கும் கீழ்ப்படிதல். [Obedience] (8:4,5,36)

👉 ஆண்டவருடைய பலியால் மீட்கப்பட்டிருத்தல். [Redeemed] (8:14,18,22)

👉 தேவனுடைய சமூகத்தில் வாசம்பண்ணி [Dwelling] தன்னைத்தான் ஆயத்தப்படுத்துவதோடு, ஜனங்களுக்காய் ஜெபித்தல். (8:33-35; 9:15)

👉 தேவனுடைய சேவைக்கு அபிஷேககிக்கப்பட்டு [Anointed] பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணப்படுதல். (8:10-12)

👉 தேவனுடைய மகிமை வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட பாத்திரமாக [Instrument for God's glory] ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தல் . (9:6,23)

To Serve God & People...

👉Without being cleansed from sins we cannot do the service of God (5,21)

👉Without being redeemed by the Lord we cannot proclaim the Redeemer & redeem people (12,19)

👉Without being separated from the world we cannot become God's own (14)

👉With personal preferences & reservations we cannot serve God's purpose (16)

👉Without servant-heart we cannot serve people (19,26)

👉Without giving our prime age to God we cannot potentially perform God's service (24,25)

Meditation from Numbers 3&4

👉Separated; for God's work demands holiness (3:4; 4:4)

👉Enrolled; called by God (3:16)

👉Responsible; for the assigned work requires accountability (3:25,31,36)

👉Vetted; for God's work requires quality & trustworthiness (4:23,35,43)

👉Idle not; always ready to do any work (3:7-9)

👉Needed; for no one or no task is insignificant in God's work (4:17,18)

👉Godly; for we are redeemed & consecrated by God to be His own (3:13,41)

Serving God

Meditation from Luke 1

Zechariah & Elizabeth and Mary found favour in the sight of God (Luke 1:25,30). The greatest favour that they received is to bring out the one who will prepare the way for the Lord (John) and the One who will prepare the people to enter God’s kingdom (Jesus). In this chapter we can find references to ‘serving God’ which gives us the important elements to truly serve God.

1.      Serving to be a blessing, not for a blessing

Zechariah was serving as priest before God (1:8) and he & his wife were righteous before God and lived blameless according to all the commandments of God (1:6). Though they did to have a child, which in a sense is a deprival of a blessing, that did not stop them from serving God.

Even after receiving John, they rejoiced that he was chosen to serve God (1:76,77).

2.      Serving by submitting to God’s will

Mary surrendered to the will of God – “Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word” (1:38). We cannot truly serve God without submitting to God’s will and by expecting to serve our wish and desire.

3.      Serving with humility and not pride

God’s favour will be on those who serve with humility (1:48) and not with those who are proud (1:51).

4.      Serving in holiness & righteousness

We are rescued by Jesus so that we “might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him all our days” (1:74,75). We cannot serve God without holiness. He who fears God will fear no circumstance and fear no one, for he will walk in holiness & righteousness.

Let us serve God with humility & in holiness, by surrendering to His will, to be a blessing!
